Terms of Use

Effective July 16, 2026

Using Croft

You must be at least 13 and able to agree to these terms to use Croft. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your credentials, and activity under your account.

Do not misuse Croft, interfere with the service, access another person’s account, upload unlawful or harmful material, scrape the service without permission, or use Croft to deceive or harm others.

Subscriptions and cancellation

Paid plans renew at the price and billing interval shown at checkout until canceled. Stripe processes web payments. Apple In-App Purchase will process iOS subscriptions when that feature ships. You can manage or cancel a paid web plan from subscription settings; cancellation takes effect as shown in the cancellation flow.

Taxes, refunds, trials, and price changes are handled according to the terms displayed at checkout and applicable law. We will provide notice required by law before a material paid-plan change takes effect.

Your content and community activity

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Croft a non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate and promote the features in which you chose to share it.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit content. We may restrict or remove content or accounts that violate these terms, create safety risk, or infringe others’ rights.

Marketplace and safety information

Users are responsible for evaluating listings, people, equipment, food, and pickup arrangements. Croft is not the owner, seller, lessor, inspector, or guarantor of user-listed items.

Croft’s gardening, pantry, preservation, weather, and community information is educational and may not fit every situation. Follow current instructions from qualified local authorities, USDA, NCHFP, Extension services, equipment manufacturers, and emergency services.

Service availability and third parties

Features may change, pause, or end. Croft integrates with third-party services that have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by law, Croft is provided as available without warranties not expressly stated in these terms. To the extent permitted by law, Croft and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so those provisions may not apply to you. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain in effect.

Changes, termination, and contact

You may stop using Croft at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, security risk, legal requirement, or discontinued service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

We may update these terms and will post the revised effective date. Questions may be sent to support@thecroft.app.
